The Nidecker Supermatic is what snowboarders have been waiting for: the first universal automatic binding with double entry. Many brands have tried to crack the step-in code and failed. Most needed special shoes, many did not work well in the powder and none were as comfortable and reliable as a normal two-strap binding. Nidecker has worked for four years on its own solution that solves all these problems and is a real game changer.
The Supermatic works with a triggered Hiback - called Drop In Tech. Simply place the foot back and step on the heel pedal to automatically activate the binding. And youre ready to go. A simple release lever makes getting out just as fast. The straps have the same comfortable AuxTech design as traditional high-end bindings. Adjust once and then lock with the locking slap ratchets - so the binding always fits perfectly. The beauty of this system is that it works with any boat, no matter what the manufacturer, and that there is no complicated mechanism that could block. If the slopes or snow conditions require it, you can even buckle up like a normal binding.
The Supermatic is made from the proven materials of the entire Nidecker product range. The base plate is made of bulletproof, fibreglass-reinforced nylon and is equipped with a Slip-N-Grip plate that makes it easier to glide the toes over the plate. In addition, we have equipped the heel cup with a roller that ensures buttery soft operation of the hiback trigger.
