●Built-in preamp - The built-in preamp preserves the frequency response of the microphone and ensures a clean sound. To operate the preamplifier, you only need an interface or a mixer with +48 V phantom power.
●Gain level - Loud sounds like a guitar or snare drum? Use +18dB or bypass the preamp to get the original output level of the SM7B. Podcasting or vocal recordings? Choose the built-in raise of +28 dB.
●Bypass switch – in bypass mode, you can do without the built-in preamplifier and forward the unamplified signal to your professional interface. The bypass mode switches back to the original SM7B power.
●Wide frequency range – whether you have activated the preamp or not, you get the same great details in your recordings thanks to a proven dynamic pickup and a frequency range of 50 to 20,000 Hz.
●CARDIOID POLAR PATTERN - Excellent reverse radiation and textbook cardioid pattern isolate your voice from all background noise, so that the SM7dB can capture a warm, clear sound in any environment.
