The most important security features of a lock are its strength and material. In general, the rule of thumb applies: The more solid the safer. This means the strength of the chain is an essential security factor of a lock. With its 13 mm thick chain, the Alcatraz chain lock offers maximum security.
Long chain allows for comfortable closing
The longer the chain, the safer it can be connected to solid objects. The Kohlburg lock has a very comfortable length of 200 cm, which allows for stress-free locking even on particularly wide objects such as street lamps.
Extremely hard special steel
Both chain and lock shackle are made of super hard titanium chrome steel. Thus, they offer a particularly high level of protection.
