Note:

- The cast iron Roti Tawa comes pre-treated at the factory. For better seasoning, we recommend that you re-soak it before first use and care after each use.

Cleaning instructions:

Wash with hot water, dry, wipe Scott towel with cooking oil and wipe everything over it.

How to Season a Pan

1. Wash your new cast iron pan thoroughly in hot water.
2. Place the pan in your preheated oven for a few minutes before continuing to make sure it is completely dry.
3. Spread grill / grill plate with grease or oil. (Do this with the whole pan, not just the cooking surface, to reduce the possibility of external rust.)
4. Bake your pan in a 350 degree oven for an hour.
5. Allow the pan to cool and wipe off excess oil.

For best results, do this two or three times, although the tawa may be satisfied after a single treatment.
