Feature

●Excellent quality: the cone part is made of T10 steel, cooling hardness 55-60 HRC, the main body part is made of 40 CR steel, cooling hardness 45-50 HRC.
●High precision: the swivel centre has a high-quality bearing design with high-speed bearings, high precision and excellent performance.
●Efficient work: A well-balanced and smooth swivel centre can achieve efficient turning. It is very suitable for supporting your work at the tailstock end of the lathe.
●Dustproof design: the dust seal with rotating centre can effectively prevent cutting dust from entering the bearing and thus extend the service life.
●【Wide Application】Designed for lathes in medium speed and load environments.

Description

Description:

A rotary center is a tool that has been ground to a point to position a workpiece accurately on an axis. It has an enclosed angle of 60°. The main use of a centre is to ensure that concentric work is done. This allows the workpiece to be transferred between machining processes without loss of accuracy. One part can be turned in a lathe, sent for hardening and starting and then ground in a cylinder grinder between the centers. A center is also used to carry longer workpieces where the cutting forces would excessively distract the work, reducing the finish and accuracy of the workpiece.

Functions:

The conical part is made of T10 steel with a quenching hardness of 55 to 60 HRC, the main body part is made of 40Cr steel with a quenching hardness of 45 to 50 HRC. High quality bearing concept with high speed bearing for high accuracy. The dust-proof seal prevents cutting dust from entering the bearing and thus extends the operating time.
Designed for lathes in medium speed and medium load environments.
Well balanced and smooth for effective turning. Ideal for supporting your work at the tailstock end of your lathe.
