The solid carbide drill is made of a micro-grain tungsten cobalt alloy with an average cobalt content of 6%. It has a high hardness (HRC92), wear resistance, heat resistance, high bending strength and resistance to stick. Provides faster cutting speeds than other substrates and is harder but more fragile.
Large and spiral chip space design for quick and clean chip removal. The sharp cutting edge ensures smooth cutting and no errors. With good milling and cutting performance, carbide ensures high work efficiency.
Suitable for precise drilling of materials under HRC45, such as stainless steel, alloy steel, tool steel, carbon steel, aluminium alloy, plastic, wood, etc. Drill metal with high hardness, the speed should be slower than normal drilling.
Used on machining centers, drills, CNC lathes, CNC engraving and milling machines. Adapts to different types of cooling conditions, such as oil mist, water, oil, air cooling. Suitable lubricant is conducive to cutting or cooling, makes cutting easier and improves smoothness and dimensional accuracy.
Note: cool and gentle when using. The longer the length of the tool is clamped by the chuck, the better. Not recommended for use with a hand drill (easy to shake, poor stability). Proper use can greatly extend the life of straight shank twist drills.
