Description

Ring nuts from Seilwerk Stanke are used for hanging and lifting objects. They are perfect for use with various ropes (natural rope, plastic or wire rope) and accessories (shackles, snap hooks, turnbuckles, etc.). The eyelet nut consists of a round eyelet and a collar with a threaded hole.

Tip: If the exact weight of the load is not known, take a larger thread ring nut for safety reasons. Note that the strength of the whole construction is influenced by ropes, turnbuckles, thimbles, hooks or rope clamps.

To properly mount the eyelet nut, turn the thread completely. The inner part of the collar should be flat against the wing. It is not allowed to strain the ring nut perpendicular to the level of the eye as the whole construction can bend or even break. To maintain the correct grip after tightening, use washers for the help of – especially important when lifting larger loads and multiple anchoring points.

With a tilt angle of less than 45°, you should take into account 30% of the nominal value.
