Feature(may vary by option.)

●Uses: suitable for iron, steels, bronze up to 1300 N/mm², high-strength alloys based on CrNi, rust-resistant steels, acid-resistant steels, heat-resistant steels, wood, aluminium
●Long service life: the high-alloy tool steel allows up to four times higher cutting speeds than conventional tool steel. Due to the cobalt alloy (5%), the material is more heat-resistant and has a higher hardness than HSSG drills. It retains its hardness up to approx. 600-650°C
●Advantages: temperature resistance / hardness, tight tolerances, self-centring, wear resistance, cutting edge stability, high smoothness, good chip removal
●Use: Our twist drills are mainly used in industrial production. They can be used in CNC machines, stand drills, drills, cordless screwdrivers, impact drills and hammer drills. With their cylindrical shaft, they can be clamped into keyless chucks as well as in gear drill chuck. The cutting direction is right and the tip angle is 118°. Because they are characterised by high efficiency and low production costs, they are often used in series production.
●Please note: do not drill into pre-drilled holes. (The cutting edges of the drill bits wear out faster and more unevenly and can break as a result.) Always drill only into the full material with appropriate speed.

BAER HSSE Extreme Twist Drill Bit

Twist drill bitTwist drill bit

With us you will receive twist drill bits in proven BAER industrial quality. Especially with tools, it is always worth spending one or the other euro more. Our twist drills are great for drilling a precise hole. The twist drills are particularly stable and made of cobalt alloy high-speed steel and retain their hardness up to approx. 600°C. Profile-ground cobalt drill bits with extremely high concentricity are suitable for drilling iron + steel and bronzes up to 1300 N/mm² as well as high-strength alloys based on CrNi and rust, acid and heat resistant steels, right with cylinder shank according to DIN 338. Twist drills with cylinder shank are suitable for use in all drill chucks and have an ideal self-centring behavior.

Universal drill bit for any application

Each material has an individual machining behavior. Therefore, twist drills must have the right geometries and be made from high-quality materials. Twist drill bits consist of the drill shank, the chip-removing grooves and the drill tip. The decisive factor for the application of the drill is not only the material, but also the cutting edge geometry, the rake angle and the twist angle, the so-called twist. This is the only way to ensure good chip transport and a dimensionally stable bore. The extreme twist drill bit is ideal for drilling iron, steel and bronze up to 1300 N/mm as well as high-strength alloys based on CrNi, rust, acid and heat resistant steels. Of course, you can also drill in wood or aluminium.
