What are paint sieves used for?

The single-use sieves are used to remove unwanted particles from paints before painting/varnishing, which would otherwise interfere with the surface structure of the paint.

Paint sieves consist of a paper funnel with a fabric insert. With our sieves, this fabric insert is made of robust nylon. The mesh width of the funnel varies depending on the type of varnish to be sieved and is indicated in µm. The smaller the µm, the finer the sieve.
