The universal insulation mat inserts have been developed with the aim of providing our customers with an uncomplicated, professional and cost-effective repair of absorption silencers. The sound insulation material fulfils three tasks: sound insulation, heat insulation and protection against vibration breakage of the sieve tube. The universal insulation mat inserts can be used for almost all muffler brands and types as they can be cut to size. The silicate fibre mat cut (50 cm x 40 cm; 6 mm thick) is heat-resistant up to 1000 °C. The fibreglass mat cut (50 cm x 75 cm; 6 mm thick) is heat-resistant up to 550 °C. The set also includes 15 x gas-tight blind rivets and comprehensive installation instructions (English language not guaranteed).
