Heatshield Armor Exhaust Heat Shield Kits keeps the heat in the exhaust system, creating a carving effect, allowing exhaust gases to flow out of the system faster. They reduce radiant heat from entering the drivers compartment and stop damage to other vehicle components. The outer armor of this exhaust heat shield allows for cleaning after installation, ensures a long service life and makes Heatshield Armor resistant to the elements. The inner ceramic liner makes it able to withstand 1800F continuously, allowing this heat shield to be placed directly on headers, turbo manifolds, downpipes, mufflers, DPF, genset and exhaust pipes. It is flexible, easy to cut and install. They recommend the 1/2" thick Heatshield Armor for forced introduction and racing applications.
