Size comparison
If you have a 24V DC system, you cannot use a fuse switch designed for a 12V DC system. The capacity cannot handle the increased current, which can lead to tripping. An automatic reset circuit breaker has a connecting plate made of two thermally sensitive metals. The plates contract when it reaches a certain temperature, cutting off the power. It will restore the connection when the circuit breakers cool, but will continue to trigger until the error is fixed.
