Powerful sound and modern design - the successor model of the popular C2 Plus has been completely revised visually and technically. The 2.1 system from the Edifier multimedia series produces impressive sound results with its 53 watt RMS output power. The bass reflex channel on the back of the subwoofer provides powerful and precise bass. The sound system can be connected directly to the PC or TV and also has an optical input.
The C2XD consists of two satellite speakers, a subwoofer, an external amplifier and an infrared remote control. All speakers are housed in real wood housings, which contributes to the outstanding sound characteristics of the 2.1 system.
The external amplifier allows you to freely place the subwoofer without compromising operation. Even if the subwoofer should be stored under the desk to save space, all operating functions remain within easy reach via the external amplifier. The amplifier also has a side headphone output and an AUX input.
Subwoofer
The 35W subwoofer features a magnetically shielded 6.5" woofer that produces precise bass. The rear bass reflex channel allows deep and powerful bass response.
The 2-way 9W satellites each have a 78mm mid-range speaker and a 19mm tweeter that deliver a balanced and crystal clear sound.
Functions and operation
All functions of the C2XD can be set either via the external amplifier or an infrared remote control. In addition to selecting the audio source (PC, AUX, Optical), volume, bass and treble settings can be made. Settings remain saved even after power off for next use. If it needs to be quieter, a headphone can be connected to the external amplifier.
