Adafruit TIP120 Power Darlington Transistors are powerful, small electronic switches and if these small NPN transistors dont have enough power for your project, Adafruit are known to use these beefy TIP120 Darlington transistors. It is ideal when you need to control medium to powerful electronics such as motors, solenoids or 1W+ LEDs. Each transistor is a universal amplifier, model TIP120 and has a CBE pinout. Transistors can be up to 60V at peak currents of 8A (not continuous, peak current only) and continuous current of 5A, with a DC gain of about 1000.
