- Solves the hassle of using 13 pins or a series of chips by placing an I2C constant current matrix controller neatly on the back of the board.
- The controller chip takes care of everything and draws all LEDs in the background.
- All you need to do is write data via the 2-pin I2C interface.
- There are three address selection pins so you can choose one of 8 addresses to control up to 8 of them on a single 2-pin I2C bus (as well as any other I2C chips or sensors you like).
- The driver chip can dim the entire display in 1/16 steps from 1/16 brightness to full brightness.
- It cannot dim individual LEDs, only the entire display at once.
