WavetableIn addition to the well-known basic waveforms, the waveable oscillator section of the GAIA 2 offers a variety of other waveforms. As a user, you can switch between waveforms or morph them to create both dramatic upheavals and slowly changing textures. The addition of the Wavetable oscillator creates high-contrast textures that lead to unpredictable and exciting results. |

The powerful Motional Pad of the GAIA 2 is a dynamic and expressive tool that brings static sounds to life. For this purpose, almost any synthesizer or effect parameter can be assigned to the individual X/Y points. Then you can morph back and forth between the parameters by finger movements on the pad. In addition, it is possible to record movements to create complex, modulated transformations that take place independently. In addition, numerous presets already have Motional Pad settings, so you can get started right away or customize them to your own ideas.

General educationGAIA 2 supports Roland Model Expansions – detailed replicas of legendary synthesizers from the long Roland history. With just one fixed button, you can seamlessly switch between the integrated sound engine and classics such as the SH-101*, JUPITER-8 or JUNO-106. Each model expansion is fully compatible with the GAIA 2 workflow. This allows you to discover vintage sounds on a unified interface and use the sequencer to create completely new music. *The SH-101 Model Expansion is pre-installed from the factory. Other model expansion titles can be purchased from the Roland Cloud. |
