Unlike many conventional steel frame reflectors/diffusers, the 82cm HaloCompact features Manfrottos new innovative RapidExoframe technology. This collapsible aluminium frame is quick to put together and the diffuser canopy is easily attached to the frame with clips. Thanks to the sophisticated RapidExoFrame construction, the frame can be disassembled into several small segments and fits together with the folded canopy into a pannier of only 6.5 x 27 x 6.5 cm, with a weight of only 335 g (reflector and bag). The HaloCompact with the new finishes are available complete with RapidExoframe. The canopy is also available separately for those who already own a HaloCompact. The unique patented reflector/diffuser canopy consists of a standard diffuser canopy with silver stripes. This means that the HaloCompact allows the light to pass from one side like a diffuser, but reflects the light on the other side to the silver strip, giving it a real dual function both as a diffuser and a reflector.
