The generation (Ultrium 9) has a capacity of up to 45 TB (compressed) and a transfer rate of up to 1,000 MB/s. In the LTO roadmap, the LTO-9 is another stage of currently planned 12 generations! The LTO-9 drives are backwards compatible with the LTO-8 generation!
