This beautiful copper pot combines tradition and high-tech. It has been produced in a traditional way from a solid copper disc and has a ferromagnetic base through a technically demanding process. This makes this pot suitable for induction and is also ideal for all other types of cookers.

Copper is the best heat conductor, so you can best regulate the heat supply of copper products. Copper cookware allows for sharp searing and stewing of meat or vegetables but also low-heat cooking. The heat is evenly distributed across the surface of the cookware.

The classic handle is made of cast iron and absorbs heat less quickly, making this pan suitable for both electric and gas cookers. The handle is attached with rivets and ensures a stable hold.

Thanks to the conical shape, this pot is ideal for preserving jam, as the water can evaporate best over the large area.

Copper takes colour

The colour of copper takes different shades when heated. This is completely natural and does not affect the preparation of your food. The copper can be recoated with special polishing paste or with a sponge, citric acid and food salt. Rub well and then rinse with clean water and dry.

Is cooking in copper harmful to health?

No, cooking in copper is non-toxic per se. Grünspan is only harmful to health in high quantities and only forms when stored (!) of eating food in copper vessels. As such, we advise that you remove your food from the copper vessel promptly after cooking/frying and cleaning the product. So you will enjoy the product.
