Timothy Theodore Duncan (* 25 April 1976 in Christiansted, American Virgin Islands) is an American basketball trainer and former player. From 1997 to 2016, Duncan played in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs. The 7ft Power Forward/Center won five NBA championships with the Spurs (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014). In the first three championships, he was honoured as the MVP of the final series. In addition, he was chosen twice as the MVP of the main round and stood in 15 NBA All-Star Games, 15 All-NBA teams and 15 NBA All-Defensive teams. [2] He was added to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.
