Important note:
Most of these models use Can-Bus technology. There is therefore no longer an analogue ignition plus cable in the vehicle shaft. This adapter provides a replacement solution. The extra red cable must be connected to an ignition plus source in the vehicle (e.g. fuse box terminal 15), otherwise the car radio will not turn on with the ignition. Please also secure this cable with a sufficient fuse.
