Description

From the quarter package, CCM will continue to use its exclusive one-piece boot technology designed for the power skater with an explosive stride. The material is an RFM composite with carbon. This setup uses high-quality materials and will transfer a lot of energy on the ice. The AS-V Pro skates are rated at 215 on the CCM stiffness scale and have a thermoformable core to provide a more custom fit.
On the back of the skate, CCM uses a Powerflex carbon tendon guard for the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro skates. This increases the freedom of movement during your step and leads to more strength. In front of your foot, CCM uses a replaceable metaatomic tongue with D3O foam. The tongue is multi-layered and has a thickness of 7 mm. It is designed with an asymmetrical flex point to wrap tighter around your foot, and emphasizes protection by incorporating D3O foam.
When we move in the shoe of the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Skates, you will find a TotalDRI Pro + inner shoe with Polygiene. This material wicks moisture away from your feet, keeps them dry and helps you stay on the ice more easily. It also provides improved durability and the Polygiene treatment keeps odours out.
Under your foot in the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro-Skates is a molded CCM Ortholite Ultralite footbed with heel support. The goal here is to be as light as possible while maintaining improved comfort and support. They have achieved this in the AS-V Pro Skates while being environmentally conscious by using recycled EVA foam.
Since the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro skates use a one-piece boot, the midsole under your foot is also made of lightweight composite. Here you really notice the improved energy transfer from a top end skate.
