How to choose the size of your snowshoes?
The more your body, gear and clothing overall weigh, the more buoyancy you need, so a larger size. Try adding 10 to 15 kg as a starting point for an easy snowshoe day on the trail. If you find your way through deep powder snow, you need a larger size to have more buoyancy and prevent sinking. On the other hand, if you are on groomed or established slopes, you need a smaller size.
