The blended fabric is a synthesis of cotton and flax. It combines the positive properties of both fibres and makes it a true all-rounder. It is particularly durable, tear-resistant and elastic. In addition, it does not fluff, is odourless and has antibacterial properties.

Are the filter cloths food safe and unbleached?

Our filter cloths are made of unbleached organic cotton and linen and are therefore 100% food safe. Contact with food is therefore absolutely harmless.

Can you strain almond or oat milk with this straining cloth?

With our straining cloths you can prepare any kind of nut milk without any problems.

Do these cheesecloths withstand the high pressure during squeezing?

Dont worry, our cheesecloth made from half-linen can withstand even very high pressure without any problems. You can therefore use our cheesecloth to squeeze berries or other fruits, for example, or in the classic way with a pointed sieve to strain.

Can the muslin cloths withstand a 60°C hot wash without any problems?

Our muslin cloths can also be washed at 60°C. It is best to boil the straining cloths in a pot with clear water and a little soda. This way, you also prevent detergent residues in the next soup.
