Low dust Self-sharpening Durable.
The ceramic grains used for Mirka® Galaxy are self-sharpening. The blue ceramic grain is designed to stay sharp permanently as its structure breaks when grinding, new edges are created and thus it has a self-sharpening effect.


Always placed correctly - Multifit™
The new Multifit from Mirka is a new design with optimal hole placement. With this new concept, the abrasive can be used on any machine as desired without the need for special alignment.

Thanks to the new Multifit hole pattern and the low wear of the ceramic grains, an abrasive has been developed that guarantees replacement speed and time saving on work. This allows the work to be continued without interruptions and at the same time a perfect balance of long service life and dust extraction can be achieved.


Non-stick coating without clogging
One of the most important aspects of developing a durable abrasive is to avoid clogging.

For Galaxy, Mirka has chosen a special non-stick coating without clogging that can repel dust better. With this coating, the dust does not stay on the abrasive and thus ensures better dust extraction together with the Multifit hole pattern. Mirka® Galaxy is a new member of Mirkas Dust-Free family. If it is ensured that it can be worked almost dust-free, the abrasive stays sharp for longer.
