How we started:
Founder Maria Gallo saw an opportunity to introduce hair foil to salons throughout Canada. Together with her husband Frank, the couple ventured into salons in their home province of Ontario, Canada, knocked on doors and clarified hairdressers about the future of hair colour. Plagued by challenges and repeatedly rejected by salon owners, the duo searched for sales, and so Framar was born. Maria became a telephone sales specialist and worked with a network that made Framar a hairdresser throughout the country without ever having met one of her clients personally - many of whom are still an integral part of Framar, about 35 years later.
What makes our products unique:
Once hair dye accessories were nothing more than a footnote in the professional beauty industry. Something everyone needed but no one was obsessed with--until Framar moved into the block. Framar products are manufactured and designed to the highest standards to honor the spirit of the hairdresser and inspire the creativity that their craft embodies them.
