The submersible sensor KF/SPF can be used in all types of heating, solid, buffering, heat pump and cooling systems. It is used in immersion sleeves to measure the heat generator or storage temperature. The measuring element is a 5 kOhm NTC thermistor, in which the electrical resistance changes analogously to its characteristic curve under the influence of temperature. The 5 kOhm NTC is a hot conductor where the resistance value drops as the ambient temperature rises. The sensor reaches its nominal resistance value at 25°C. This sensor is the standard sensor for all Lago, Elfatherm E8 and Merlin heating controllers.
