Description

Wind, an unstable tripod or an accidental shock can disturb your image quality. With these robust pads, your telescope will be kept still while observing. Place your tripod on the pads to absorb vibrations and stabilise your telescope. The Celestron three vibration damping pads set are made with Sorbothane, which is only available in the USA. The material is known worldwide for its excellent shock-, vibration- and noise-absorbing properties. Neither synthetic rubber or polymer can break down energy so effectively. BEWARE OF CHEAPER IMITATIONS WITH LESS POWERFUL MATERIALS! Imitations use cheap silicone that does not perform well and can melt in the sun. Similar materials used in China may look similar, but perform far less well than products containing sorbothane.
