Sun filter from TS Optics
High-quality filter with metal frame for safe observation and photography of the sun. The filter is attached to the telescope, spotting scope or telephoto lens via three metal screws with plastic tip.
The clamping on the tube is infinitely variable within the specified connection dimensions.
The filters come in front of the optics and thus effectively prevent the penetration of radiation into the optics. The sun is dampened to the brightness of the moon.
The Baader sun filter film coated on both sides is used. The film has been used by star friends for years and impresses with a very high contrast and sharp image. The advantages of the film are:
- Optimum protection thanks to coating on both sides.
- High safety - the film cannot break and is very tear-resistant.
- The sun is not dyed, the neutral colour of the sun is retained.
- Best contrast and sharpness – the Baader sun filter film is superior to the glass filters known to us.
- Optimum UV protection for your eyes, which goes beyond the protection of the glass sun filters that are often coated only on one side.
- Note: slight waves may form on the film during the covering, which does not affect the image quality! !
