Description
The WoodyLion range
For many of us, its virtually impossible to simply walk past a beautifully shaped stick. The urge to take it in hand and battle with everyone is too big to resist him. Thats why Liontouch introduced the WoodyLion range. Wooden swords and shields, but with a special feature: Instead of hard wood, they are made of flexible EVA foam which is designed to look like a wooden sword. Even if the game goes into the trousers, safety is ensured and we avoid damage that solid wood could cause. Then there is no more excuse not to start playing immediately!
The Liontouch process
Product development
Our understanding of product development and control of the entire process, from concept to final production, is what distinguishes Liontouch from others. Since we started manufacturing swords, shields and accessories in 1997, we have specialised in quality toys for role play - often in traditional and medieval designs.
From idea to product
All Liontouch products start as an idea. We then design them by making hand drawings until we agree on a final design. This is what the owner Hans, who can be seen in the picture. Coarse sketches gradually become more detailed, and when the final design is selected, the production is done at our reliable partners in East Asia.
After completion
After quality control, the products are shipped to Denmark, from where we distribute them together with our wholesalers and partners all over the world. Everything for a happy child to have a quality Liontouch toy somewhere in the world that stimulates their imagination and lasts a long time.

QualityOur products are designed to last. Therefore, we give a local nursery patterns of all products with the purpose of uncovering vulnerabilities. Of course, this does not mean that they cannot break - after all, they are still toys. But we have come a long way to create products that can withstand the active play we want to encourage to. |
SafetyOur priority is clear: Safety first. Our swords, shields and accessories are made from EVA foam which allows you to create solid products that are completely flexible. We never put stabilizing rods into our products as they may come out and become dangerous. The product must be safe - otherwise we wont make it. |
