Description

The magnesium flakes, magnesium chloride dandruff, magnesium crystals are a natural product from the Dead Sea. The magnesium flakes are made from magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2 x 6H2O), 47% MgCl2.

Use and effect of magnesium flakes

Dead Sea magnesium flakes, which are also known as magnesium chloride flakes, magnesium dandruff, magnesium flakes or magnesium crystals, are made from 47% magnesium chloride and 53% pure water (hexahydrate). Our Dr. Lohmann Diaclean magnesium flakes are extracted from the Dead Sea. The crystalline form of magnesium chloride hexahydrate is created by evaporation. The magnesium chloride-containing water of the Dead Sea is pumped out and heated, so that the magnesium binds to crystals and the magnesium flakes are created.

The special thing about the Dead Sea magnesium flakes is that the magnesium chloride is not chemically cleaned before the evaporation process, so that all enriched natural minerals of the Dead Sea are preserved. Accordingly, the magnesium flakes are a pure, high-quality natural product.

Magnesium flakes are mainly used for foot baths or full baths and used as magnesium baths, as the magnesium flakes are naturally water-soluble.

For the production of magnesium baths, a 3-5% magnesium chloride concentrations is recommended. The suitable water temperature for a foot or full bath is at least 37 °C

Instructions for magnesium flakes

Magnesium flakes are made of magnesium chloride hexahydrate. Magnesium chloride hexahydrate is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts water. It therefore tends to form clumps, which does not affect the quality. The magnesium flakes should not come into contact with eyes, open wounds or mucous membranes and be kept out of reach of children. For external use only. Magnesium chloride can cause slight tingling on sensitive skin
