Description

The PE coupling is equipped with two clamping sleeves on both sides, which can be clamped directly with a PE pipe. Both clamping sleeves have the same diameter.

To reduce a PE pipe, you can use a PE reducing coupling. The PE coupling is suitable for connecting to all PE pipes made of soft PELD (black service water pipes) and hard PEHD (drinking water pipes). The kiwa has confirmed drinking water suitability. The PE coupler can be used for various liquids (except oil). The UV-resistant is given.

The PE coupling with clamping sleeves is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar at a liquid temperature of 20°. The clutch is also suitable for professional use in the industrial sector. As with all clamp connectors, the pipe is inserted into the sleeve side of the PE coupling and screwed into place.

Up to a size of 40 mm, the union nuts can be screwed by hand. From a union nut diameter of 50 mm, a mounting key is recommended for PE fittings, so they allow safe tightening of the union nuts. The PE coupling is made of PP so that the coupling is like all PE plastic fittings. can be laid above ground (UV-resistant) as well as underground. In order to avoid bursting the pipes, it is necessary to ensure the emptying of the pipes in case of sinking temperatures (risk of frost).
