●How to transport your fish on air travel? Cool boxes have a weight of approx. 4-6 kg much too heavy, as a piece of luggage can usually only have 20 kg or max 23 kg. There have been bad experiences with polystyrene boxes in the past, some of them were broken or denied by airlines as it is not a proper piece of luggage.
●On the day of departure, simply close the lid and take the bag home. Your fish will still be frozen at home. It is important that the bag is full. When filled, the bag weighs between 17 kg and 23 kg depending on the fillet size and packing technique. The medium model is intended for the smaller fillets and brings accordingly less packing volume. Here it is between 8 kg and 12 kg total weight.
●In our new version, we have revised the zips so that even when fully packed, the weight is better distributed. Side load straps distribute weight across the entire bag. The insulation has also been improved again. Enjoy beautifully frozen fillets when you are back home.
