The Supra CAT8 cable is superior to all competitors because it is future-proof as it allows compliance with the 40GBASE-T standard (=40GByte transmission via copper cable) via just one cable. It is backwards compatible with the CAT 6A standard. The Supra CAT8 exceeds the CAT 6A standard by four times and realizes a transmission bandwidth of 2000 MHz. Supra CAT8 connectors are optimised RJ45 connectors that ensure this extreme bandwidth.
Supra CAT8 should be used wherever error-free data streams in real time are important. This is for example 4K and 8K video streaming, streaming HiRes audio data (24/192 to 32/384), high-resolution video games and building installations. Thanks to the outstanding features of the Supra CAT8, the return of control bits can be reduced or even completely eliminated. This prevents still image effects during video transmissions and stuttering during audio transmission.
Our Supra CAT8 is built with double shielding to avoid data loss and mutual influence of different signals. This is extremely critical in many applications. In terms of PoE (power over ethernet), this is the power supply via LAN cable, a larger conductor cross-section has been used than in the CAT 6A cable. This makes the Supra CAT8 ideal for safely operating even power-hungry devices without voltage losses.
