Description

The Basys 3 is one of the best boards on the market for getting started in FPGAs. It is an enty-level development board based on a Xilinx Artix-7-FPGA.

As a complete and ready-to-use platform for developing digital circuits, it contains enough switches, LEDs and other I/O devices to realize a large number of designs without additional hardware. There are also enough unspecified FPGA I/O pins to expand designs with Digilent Pmods or other custom boards and circuits.

The Basys 3 was developed exclusively for the Vivado Design Suite by Xilinx, including the free Vivado ML Standard Edition (formerly Vivado WebPACK) from Xilinx.
