Arty S7: Spartan-7 FPGA for makers and hobbyists with Xilinx XC7S50
The Arty S7 board features the new Xilinx Spartan-7 FPGA and is the latest member of the Arty family for makers and hobbyists.
The Spartan-7 FPGA offers the size and performance driven as well as cost-conscious designs using Xilinx latest technologies and is fully compatible with the Vivado Design Suite. Using this FPGA in the Arty form factor offers users a variety of I/O and expansion options. Use the dual row Arduino connectors to install one of hundreds of hardware-compatible shields, or use the Pmod ports with Digilent Pmod IP blocks for an optimized design experience.
Arm DesignStart provides quick access to a selected mix of Arm processor IPs, including Cortex-M0, Cortex-M3 and Cortex-A5 processors, and supports IP, software and resources for developing custom silicons. For FPGA designs, the program also offers Cortex-M1 and Cortex-M3 Soft-CPU IPs, software and resources.

Arty S7 is designed to be ready for the MicroBlaze Soft processor and can also be used straight out of the box with the Xilinx WebPack. In addition, users can configure dual conversion channels with 12-bit resolution on the Arty S7 using the on-chip analogue digital converter.
