Each piece is sturdy enough to cut with its durable nylon base. The silicone sides resist temperatures from hot food and hot surfaces up to 300 degrees Celsius. The sides are flexible so liquids can be easily poured out. When folded, the X-Mug in the X-Bowl, which fits comfortably into the X-Plate, provides additional space saving.
