●This sturdy bean bag is designed to support a DSLR, mirrorless or video camera on a vehicle, car window, chair, table, tree limb, fence post or on the floor. It is faster to use than a tripod. The bag has a zip compartment filling material such as polyethylene beads, buckwheat rolls, rice, beans etc. can be added without the use of a liner.
●Usage Ways It can be used in three modes: 1) flat, provides a large "bottom to the ground" shooting surface; 2) Saddle bag mode, with the side straps folded to raise your camera. Drape it over the edge of a partially raised car window or place it on the ground to shoot flowers or insects; or 3) Ballast mode, hang it on a tripod or light stand to stabilize in the wind or when using super telephoto lenses. It is also used to support a Rife in the range.
●BUILD QUALITY It is made of a combination of durable 400 denier and 420 denier ripstop nylon. We do not use cheap polyester fabrics like many imports. In addition, the bottom has a rubberized fabric that keeps the bag in place when placed on a vehicle or other smooth surface. It is double stitched and reinforced at the connection points of the webbing.
●INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL When traveling abroad, take the blank version and fill it in with rice, beans or bird seeds on site. Then after completing the shoot, put the contents down and return home with an empty, compact bag.

Description
The SafariSack has been in production for over ten years. It has been duplicated by others, but as they say, "Copying is the best form of flattery.
- We offer you a selection of fillings. Polyethylene beads are the sturdiest but heavier than buckwheat rolls. For lenses up to 200 mm, the buckwheat is sufficient.
- The 4.2 has a side gusset that allows for a thicker filling volume in the half saddle bag.
- The ends are slightly rounded for easier handling.
- D-rings at the ends for carrying over the shoulder with a shoulder strap (# Y215 is adjustable, unpadded & 1 inch / 25 mm wide).
- With the sewn-in strap, it can be securely attached to the rack on the top of a LandRover common on safari... or your own mini van or SUV. If you want a longer strap, get the #Y208.
- You can add water, sand or pebbles to use as a ballast to stabilise a tripod or light level in the wind. We recommend using an optional insert for Sand (R107) or choose the R425 SafariSack II for a simpler and less expensive ballast bag, use the R106 water bladder.
