This quick-release drill chuck has a locking mechanism that prevents the drill chuck from loosening in anti-clockwise rotation. This makes this drill chuck, in contrast to conventional keyless chucks, suitable for working clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation. The locking and unlocking is done by turning the red ring to "lock" or UNLOCK The chuck comes with cone mandrel. Taper mandrel and chuck are connected together via a form-fitting B18 cone, i.e. the cone mandrel can be separated from the drill chuck. The cone mandrel has an extension flap and is therefore suitable for use in both drills and in the tailstock of lathes. The clamping range of this lining is 1 to 16 mm. As the three jaws close completely, clamping tools with a shaft diameter of less than 1 mm is also possible.
