Die Spannungswandler erzeugen aus einem Gleichspannungsbereich(jeweils Datenblatt beachten) eine konstante Gleichspannung von 12 Volt. Dies ermöglicht den Anschluss unterschiedlichster Verbraucher an Spannungsquellen wie im KFZ, Wohnmobilen, an Solaranlagen oder beim Camping. Den maximal angegebenen Ausgangsstrom kann der Wandler ohne aktive Kühlung leisten und arbeitetet dadurch Geräuschlos. Umfangreiche Schutzeinrichtungen schützen den Wandler selbst, den Verbraucher sowie die angeschlossene Spannungsquelle(jeweils Datenblatt prüfen). Durch integrierte selbstrückstellende(selbstheilende) Sicherungen ist das Modul auch nach bspw. einem Kurzschluss nicht defekt und kann ohne Einschränkungen weiter verwendet werden. Ist Primärseitig(Eingang) mit Überlastungsströmen zu rechnen, wird eine zusätzliche Sicherung empfohlen. Direkt an die Batterie angeschlossen, können z.B. Akkuladegeräte, Computer oder sonstige Elektrogeräte mit der jeweils angegebenen Dauerleistung betrieben werden.
Der Converter ist durch die robuste Bauweise auch für anspruchsvolles Terrain gerüstet und erlaubt individuellen Einsatz. Hohe Feuchtigkeitsresistenz und Vibrationsbeständigkeit kombiniert in platzoptimiertem Design zeichnen das Modul aus. Qualitativ hochwertige Chips sorgen für Integrität und Haltbarkeit. Verzinnte Adernenden ermöglichen zuverlässigen Kontakt an Klemmen oder Steckverbindern.
