Engel Reitsport branded product: colourful and affordable: 100% genuine merino lambskin from Australia:
The high-quality Engel Reitsport saddle cushion is made of durable quilted fabric (cotton) on the top and 100% genuine merino lambskin (dense merino lambskin from Australia) on the bottom. The lambskin height is approx. 30 mm. The saddle pad has two fur wreaths (front and rear, width of each fur wreath approx. 60 mm). Velcro attachments and a high cut withers allow for the best grip under the saddle.
The saddle pad is available in three sizes.
- Size S, back length approx. 50 cm, 14.0 - 15.5 inch saddle.
- Size M, back length approx. 56 cm, 16.0 - 17.5 inch saddle.
- Size L, back length approx. 58 cm, 18.0 - 19.5 inch saddle.
You have the choice of 12 lambskin colours
(Colours: medical, black, white, silver, anthracite, mocha, camel, burgundy, green, baby blue, pink; note the selection).
Why is lambskin useful for riders and horses?
Lambskin prevents excessive pressure on the horses body or back, and the soft and dense fur prevents wounds (wound riding), hair breakage, allergies and irritation caused by certain material intolerances. The lambskin thus ensures ideal pressure distribution and prevents friction on the body/back of the horse. Lambskin regulates temperature and absorbs sweat immediately. Lambskin neutralises odours and is particularly easy to clean and durable.
The product can be easily washed by hand or in the machine on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius. Our fur detergent Fellwash is recommended.
