[Cup brush with shaft 6 mm Ø 50 Unzopft trim material Sic 180 0.90 mm]
With over 9,000 tools for surface processing and separating materials, PFERD offers the optimal tool solution for every application.
PFERD offers the right brush for every application, every application problem and every material.
Technical brushes:
Pferd cup brushes with shaft are quality tools for surface finishing. The TBU unbraided brushes are universal for cleaning, rust removal and smoothing as well as removing corrosion and varnishes. Due to the front insert with the entire brush surface, especially suitable for brushing work on large, flat and easily accessible surfaces. For best performance, use tool drive with at least 300 watts.
Advantages:
Steel wire is the most common trim material. Brushes with the trim material steel wire are particularly suitable for light surface processing and deburring work. Horse special wire has a high tensile and bending resistance This ensures optimal wear of the wire as well as a long service life, even in extreme brushing applications.
Advantages:
Long service life thanks to the use of PFERD special wire.
In order to meet the special requirements when machining stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses the wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) in all INOX brushes. Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has very good corrosion resistance with optimal service life. All HORD brushes with INOX trim are marked blue and for use on all stainless steel (INOX), such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to ferromagnetic behaviour when cold solidified, which means it is attracted to magnets. The cause of this is a microbial change due to deformation, e.g. during wire drawing. This does not affect the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties.
Advantages:
HORD brushes with INOX trim are usually degreased and leave no oil residue on the workpiece.
Brushes with silicon carbide (SiC) are particularly suitable for deburring work and surface improvement.
Advantages:
Abrasive grains are embedded in flexible plastic filaments, which makes the trim work not only at the top but also with the sides.
