The Vasner tofu box – easily create your individual protein treats.
With small handles, thanks to the Tofu Box from Vasner, you can quickly make your own delicious tofu from soybeans or soy milk yourself. In addition, you can also use the pulp, or the dried pulp from fruit and vegetables for it. You only need a juicer / slow juicer such as the Vasner Juica or Juica Touch. How to use the Tofu Box: First prepare the soy mass according to your favourite recipe. (Soaking the beans etc.) To make the soy pure, you can choose to use the fine or coarse sieve of the Vasner Juica. Depending on your preference and type of bean. As soon as the soy puree is pressed with the Vasner Juica, proceed with the tofu box as follows: 1. Place the cloth in the box so that the edges of the cloth hang outwards above the edge of the box. 2. Pour the slightly cooled soy puree into the cloth of the box and sieve. 3. Add and mix water. Water quantity = a quarter of the output quantity. 4. Now press a second time with pressure. For this purpose, overlap the edges of the cloth into the box and place the lid of the tofu box. Then apply pressure on the lid so that the whey is pressed through the cloth and the slots of the box. This can be done with a full jam jar or other weight. After 30 minutes of pressing, the tofu has reached the ideal consistency. After that, the tofu can cool down in ice water for a few minutes and then be prepared. The parts of the box as well as the cloth, please wash by hand only. Storage of tofu: In the refrigerator, tofu can hold approx. 10 days. frozen it can be approx. 3 months.
