About Talbot-Torro:

As the name Talbot-Torro suggests, the brand originally dates to two brands. The British brand Talbot was founded by Derek Talbot. Derek was the UKs top badminton player of the 1970s, whose commitment also significantly helped badminton to become an Olympic sport. After completing his sporting career, he founded the Talbot brand in the 1980s, which was then taken over by the owners of the Schildkröt Sport brand in the 1980s. In collaboration with Derek Talbot and our expert and product development team succeeded in developing the technologies and thus raising the clubs to a high quality competition level. Torro was also founded in the 1980s in Hamburg. In 1992, this is a young, emerging brand was also adopted and combined with Talbot as a double brand Talbot-Torro.

Talbot-Torro presents ELI - Easy Learning Initiative, the innovative school sports and learning concept for badminton newborns. 15 years after the introduction of the successful BISI (badminton school sports rackets), Talbot-Torro presents a new and significantly advanced concept for learning badminton sports for children and students. The ELI concept was developed in close collaboration with Holger Hasse, the long-standing federal trainer of the German Badminton Association.

Multi-stage concept with bats for 4 ages. ELI Mini = with a length of only 53 cm, it is aimed at children aged 4 and over. ELI Junior = with a length of 58 cm, the racket is ideal for children aged 6 and over. ELI Teen = with a length of 63 cm, it is aimed at players aged 8 and over. ELI Advanced = With a length of 66.5 cm (regular length), it is aimed at players aged 10 and over.
