Description

Halsberge, HochMittelalter

Very beautiful and wearable reconstruction of a 13th century French neck (harness collar). The original was in the Wallace Collection for a long time, but is now in the Paris Louvre. It has been extensively described by Sir Guy Francis Lakingin his book, A record of European Armours and Arms through Seven Centuries.

With the help of the right leather strap, the collar width can be individually adjusted. The individual parts are riveted and therefore immovable.
