[Seatalk NG]

Description

The thermometer takes measurements in the range of -55 to +125 °C (-67..+258 °F), the sensor is located outside the housing on a flexible, 95 cm long wire in a sealed stainless steel sleeve and can be used to measure the temperature of gases or liquids. If necessary, the wire can be extended up to 100 metres. The thermometer can be configured by the user to display data such as "air temperature", "sea temperature", "temperature in the refrigerator", "temperature in the engine compartment", "bait fountain temperature", etc.
Temperature data output resolution on a NMEA 2000 network is 0.01°C, absolute measurement accuracy is ±0.5°C.

Data from one device can be viewed on any number of chart plotters and digital navigation devices and used by other digital devices in the vessel.

The devices are designed to operate on an NMEA 2000 network and are compatible with a wide range of devices that support this protocol. Raymarine SeaTalk NG, Simrad SimNet and Furuno CAN networks are brand versions of NMEA 2000 and differ only by plug type. Garmin uses the NMEA 2000 micro connector in its devices, which is compatible with the DeviceNet Micro connector.

Our devices come with different types of plugs (see user manual in English) so that it is possible to connect them to networks from different manufacturers without adapters. The device model is displayed on the case.

Up to 50 devices can be used simultaneously on one vessel, this limitation is set by the network specification.
