The driving profile selection allows individual tuning of steering (sport and normal mode), engine characteristic curve and transmission tuning as well as their automatic permanent adjustment to the driving situation. At the touch of a button, you can select from the five settings "NORMAL", "ECO", "SPORT", "COMFORT" and "INDIVIDUAL".
If they are installed in the vehicle, there are other functional partners:
Adaptive Cruise Control (Normal, Sport, ECO)
Dynamic cornering light (normal, sports, ECO).
Belt tensioner (sport).
Air conditioning (Eco).
In addition to the installation instructions (English language not guaranteed), the box contents also include the button module (mode button) with cable and the activation document required for the function activation on the tester. With the activation, the PR number is rewritten in the construction status documentation of the manufacturers database. When connecting a diagnostic tester later, the function is detected correctly. In addition, all affected control units are re-coded, parameterised and calibrated as required. The function is therefore comparable to the factory installed driving profile selection.
