Enamel is glass on iron - an ideal kitchen material that perfectly combines the positive properties of the two materials: the iron core conducts and retains heat, the non-porous glass surface is easy to clean and preserves the aromas.
The burning process at 850 °C creates the wonderfully bright colours of enamel as well as the hard, non-porous and scratch-resistant and cut-resistant surface.
Please remove all films and stickers from the cookware. Adhesive residue can be easily removed with cooking oil. Smaller colour variations and irregularitiesEach of our products is lovingly handmade piece by our enamel experts. Colour variations and irregularities are typical of this. Depending on the product, the enamel application is carried out by diving or spraying. |
The degassing holeThis is located on the back of our hollow handles, where they are attached to the pot. Here, the air escapes during burning in all our models with enamelled hollow handles. |
"Seam" on the inside of the hollow handlesOur products have two to three layers of enamel (depending on the model): Base enamel and colour enamel. As the base enamel moves slightly outwards during burning, the thin line is typical for enamel - called seam" - inside the hollow handles where the sides collapse together. |
The support points:Here, the hook is attached to the beading edge of the enamelware to hang the dishes for drying or then for burning. There is a small point at this point, as the enamel cannot stick there. |
