Classic / Country - drinking pot with handle

Our popular sippy pot is also available in this elegant version as a milk pot with a long handle. Liquids such as milk, water, soup, sauces can be easily poured with a swivel. The sippy pot with handle is also good for serving liquid directly at the table. The edge is round curved – beading edge in the enamel language – the metal is bent to create a round and stable edge. This milk pan is a popular helper in the kitchen.

Thanks to its iron core, the enamel conducts heat quickly and stores it sustainably for energy-saving cooking. Perfect hygiene thanks to the non-porous smooth glass surface. Enamelware is also recommended for allergy sufferers.

In the beak pot, milk, sauces and other liquids such as soups can be quickly heated. The frothed milk for morning coffee or soup in the soup plate can also be poured without a ladle.

Instructions for use:

Please remove all films and stickers from the cookware. Adhesive residue can be easily removed with cooking oil. To remove any existing impurities, fill in boiling water and a shot of vinegar and leave it to work for a short time. Then rinse with water and dry the product well. Read the instructions for use of the cookware and stove carefully to avoid operating errors.

  • Take special care not to overheat the dishes. The optimal operating temperature for healthy cooking is 220°C.
  • Start the cooking process with medium setting and then regulate it upwards. Never heat pots and pans when empty. Overheating can cause the floor to deform.
  • Avoid impact with hard objects or floors as well as strong knocking with metal kitchen aids on the edge of the pot as this can lead to chipping.
  • Never place heated enamelware in cold water. The temperature shock can cause jumps. Therefore, allow the dishes to cool down briefly and then clean them.
  • Enamelled handles and lids get hot quickly because they are made of iron in the core. The use of pot holders is highly recommended. Our leather pot holder is durable and non-slip.
  • Always store cookware on hobs and do not push it. Otherwise, scratches and marks may occur.
  • Always clean the bottom of the dishes and the hob well before use.
  • Despite all care, enamel chips outdoors, this is only visually harmful. You can continue to use the crockery without any worries.

Smaller colour variations and irregularities

Each of our products is lovingly handmade piece by our enamel experts. Colour variations and irregularities are typical of this. Depending on the product, the enamel application is carried out by diving or spraying.

The degassing hole

This is located on the back of our hollow handles, where they are attached to the pot. Here, the air escapes during burning in all our models with enamelled hollow handles.

"Seam" on the inside of the hollow handles

Our products have two to three layers of enamel (depending on the model): Base enamel and colour enamel. As the base enamel moves slightly outwards during burning, the thin line is typical for enamel - called seam" - inside the hollow handles where the sides collapse together.

The support points:

Here, the hook is attached to the beading edge of the enamelware to hang the dishes for drying or then for burning. There is a small point at this point, as the enamel cannot stick there.

In addition to quality and sustainable production, we pay attention to short transport routes and means of transport such as train and ship. This strengthens the region and protects the environment.

The Riess team requires many manual steps until a piece of enamelware leaves the manufacture. The training and training of our enamel team is very important.
