The special heat distribution gives both new and familiar food new taste nuances. Heavy thick cast iron crockery keeps the temperature and ensures optimal heat distribution. Fried potatoes become soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, meat remains tender and juicy and cakes and rolls airy and fine-pored. The food tastes like grandparents back then.

The pan has no chemical coating and must be baked with vegetable oil before first use. This creates your own natural patina, which contains no harmful substances and can be renewed at any time if necessary. This makes the pan almost indestructible and scratch-resistant. The patina protects the pan from external influences and provides the necessary non-stick properties.

Cast iron crockery is not dishwasher safe and must only be cleaned by hand and without steel sponges or aggressive detergent. All you need is hot water and a cleaning brush or household sponge to rinse.

Cast iron is magnetic and best suited for induction plates. But you can use our dishes just as well on gas, electric and glass ceramic hobs. Even high temperatures of a grill, fire pit or open fire are no problem for cast iron dishes. The crockery is suitable for all types of cookers.

Notes:

The pan is not suitable for immediate use and must be prepared (burned) for a long time. When baking, a strong smoke forms. Ensure good ventilation to avoid inhaling the smoke or burn the dishes outside on a grill. Cast iron tableware is not dishwasher safe. Aggressive detergent and steel sponges can damage the patina. The dishes have a rough surface. To avoid damage to the glass ceramic hobs, lift the dishes when moving. The bottom of the cast iron tableware is not twisted and can be curved or uneven. Cast iron is not suitable for long-term storage of food.
